Post Name: Chair Person of Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum [CGRF]
Qualification/ Experience: As per cl. 2.5 of GERC (CGRF and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2011, the Chairperson of the Forum shall be a retired district judge/a retired senior judicial officer or a retired civil servant not below the rank of Collector or a retired senior electrical engineer not below the rank of Chief Engineer having the experience of distribution of electricity.
Provided that the Chairperson shall preferably have working knowledge of the vernacular language of the State of Gujarat.
Age: As per cl. 2.7 of GERC (CGRF and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2011, No person above the age of 65 years shall be appointed as the Chairperson.
Remuneration: Independent member and chairman is being paid Rs.2000/- per seating to outside or at corporate office of DGVCL.
